Our Story
In 2005, Vivek Sharma moved from New Delhi to the U.S. and began helping international students adjust to life abroad. Seeing many struggle with rent and stress, he founded RaiseFunds to provide financial relief and help students focus on their education, well-being, and academic success.
Today, RaiseFunds has become a growing community of volunteers, donors, and partners supporting international students through rent assistance, cultural events, and mentorship programs. We aim to create a space where students not only survive—but thrive—with the support of a caring and inclusive network.
In 2024, we expanded globally with our first mission to Kenya, donating computers and supplies to underserved schools. The experience reinforced our belief in education as a universal bridge to opportunity. Whether locally or globally, RaiseFunds is committed to lifting students and building stronger communities—one act of support at a time.
